Online student workbook

CLIENT: Central Examination Committee

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: To provide a platform dedicated for students, that allows to prepare for the final exams of the given teaching stage.

SOLUTION: to create a dedicated system for creating and solving sets of tasks.

The system allows to create single-choice and multiple-choice tests. Each question may include multimedia resources in the form of pictures and sounds. Also the answers themselves can be in multimedia form. The question editor also allows to insert advanced mathematical formulas and equations.

The application was developed by a team of four developers – two involved in the preparation of the REST API and two front-end developers responsible for the development of the mobile version built with the use of Cordova platform.

The client application was developed in the AngularJS framework, which greatly facilitated its migration to both iOS and Android platform, and greatly improved the market take-up of the application itself.

To build API, the Symfony2 framework combined with MySQL and Redis databases were used, which has resulted in improved architecture, performance, and stability of the whole application. The whole is completed by Ansible, which is used to both: to manage the condition of the server and the process of implementing changes in the production environment.

BPH

CLIENT: Bank BPH

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: To create a gamification system for the client in order to create team competition in the company, through a game available to company employees.

SOLUTION: A dedicated system in which the access for outsiders was blocked, only people from the company with the account in the internal system could log in and participate in the competition. Thanks to the connection with the bank system – the system identified the user by retrieving the data from which city and branch he or she comes from, thus giving the possibility to compare results between cities and branches.

The whole game and system has different levels of availability. An example is the access for managerial staff that have the ability to preview the results of their teams.

ANTY WEB

CLIENT: Antyweb – website for new technology enthusiasts.

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: To create a service designed in line with the “mobile first” philosophy and with the principles of full responsiveness.

SOLUTION: A website for new technology enthusiasts. Every day the team of editors prepares new posts about technological novelties. The service is designed according to the “mobile first” philosophy and respects the principles of full responsiveness.

On the page, users can create accounts and comment selected posts. The page has very innovative layout, and many interesting front-end solutions. There are a few accounts for redactors, moderators and admin created from CMS.

CLIENT: Hyent Technology Sp. z o.o.

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: To create an innovative communication tool for both individual and group users.

Social networking application that enables free communication between users. It offers not only the option to use individual and group chats, but also to create events, groups of close friends or thematic groups, and to invite selected users to them.

Within the application users can also share multimedia files, and make voice and video calls.

4Trans Mobile

CLIENT: Inelo

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: To create a simple and convenient application for reading driver’s cards, tachographs and route documentation.

SOLUTION: The application transparently presents driver’s working time analysis based on the cards. Route module is used for reporting delegations and creating journey log. All routes reads and files can be sent directly to the 4Trans programme in the head office.

CLIENT: Soccer Skills Sp. z.o.o

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: To create an application enabling football coaches to manage the training of children and teenagers.

The application dedicated to football coaches enabling detailed planning of individual trainings in a manner corresponding to performance and abilities of individual participants. With access to the online platform, coaches in a convenient and efficient manner can create and modify individual training summaries for the selected age category.

Also a number of tools introduced in the application raise the quality of actions and provide the opportunity for both coaches and training participants to have current knowledge about individual achievements.

MOTIONVFX.COM

CLIENT: MotionFx – online store.

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: To create an online store with animation templates for designers.

SOLUTION: A modern online store with animation templates for designers. It is fully responsive and supports most of the processes connected with the client’s business aspects.

Since our company took over maintenance of the store, we have expanded loyalty functions, orders settlement, the system of product categorization, and have implemented a completely new layout and new front-end solutions.

ERP NOVATIS

CLIENT: Novatis Sp. z.o.o.

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: Creation of dedicated software to facilitate human resource management in a construction company.

Dedicated system for company resources management in the construction industry, which enables the administration of workers from outside the country, and offers a wide range of possibilities to control the rotation of documents required for hiring foreigners.

The system also gives the ability to manage company’s finances on the basis of employees’ work time tracking. The enterprise order module provides current knowledge of current work and supports the process of workers movement between workplaces.

Implementation of the application enabled the optimization of the employee management process in the enterprise and allowed for a more accurate control over the rotation of employees, their time and the quality of work.

SPARK

CLIENT: Spark Software – developer of the mobile platform that has a chance to revolutionize global offline and online shopping of FMCG products

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: To create a database that allows consumers to obtain complete information about the detailed characteristics of the product.

SOLUTION: A set of dedicated applications whose central part is the management module of organizations and users. It is also a central tool for authentication of users from other modules through the Single Sign-On mechanism.

Product module is a sophisticated application that aims to gather complete product information – from code names, through components, energy value, production centers, consumer communication, to kinds and types of available packages. Consumer API allows shops and other organizations to get knowledge about the specific characteristics of the selected product.

The application was prepared by a team of four programmers working in two groups. Backend building REST API on Symfony2 platform and Frontend group implementing customer application using AngularJS framework.

RabbitMQ server was used to synchronize the data between modules.

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: Improving the operation of the online store.

SOLUTION: The DVS developers have implemented new items such as tooltips, notifications during fabric selection and drop-down menu. It is also worth to pay attention to the rebuilt help system and the introduction of a tutorial for new users of the site.

SOLUTION: Website of Chiesi Pharmaceutical company.

The site presents information about the company and its products. It is also a part of the communication strategy with customers.

DEVELEY

CLIENT: Develey – the biggest producer of mustard and delicatessen cold sauces in Europe.

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: To create a dedicated website supporting the promotion of the company through loyalty campaign.

SOLUTION: The service supports the promotion of the company through loyalty system.

After logging in, the users can register the codes that are attached to the products.

Thanks to the codes they collect points and then redeem them for prizes.

Besides the codes for purchasing a product, users can collect points for various quizzes and contests organized on the website.

The management panel is equipped with code generation, the option to collect user data, statistics, to activate the stores on the interactive map and to verify prizes.

In addition, there is an application for the company’s representatives, that is integrated with the system and thus the codes are activated and linked to products and stores.

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: To create a profitable, independent online store that should be a prompt for a Client regarding the essential solution for them.

SOLUTION: Design and programming of the online store on the PrestaShop platform. Focusing attention on clear and unambiguous transmission of product content – clear, transparent, and easy to find information.

Nowa Era

CLIENT: Nowa Era – leader in the educational publishing market.

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: To create an IT platform supporting knowledge management.

SOLUTION:

IT platform supporting knowledge management – KMS product extended with additional mechanisms.

The most interesting module by which the platform has been extended is the module for managing stationary trainings, recording of the users involved in training and full reporting of all trainings.

This system has also been enriched with a special glossary of terms, helpful when it comes to tests.

By using ACL, you can easily restore the organization structure and, depending on your needs, organize mass mailings to selected individuals or groups from the database.

Due to the need of the Client, an additional Active Directory login system has been created. That system allows users to log in to several systems on a single credential.

RabbitMQ solution speeds up the tests completing and their saving process, which work efficiently, when there are many users in the system at the same time.

ROI

CLIENT: PKT – nationwide company directory.

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: Creation of a system for reporting of the results achieved by the customers related to the use of products offered by PKT.PL

SOLUTION: The system has a panel of consultants to help them see results, compare performance, analyze trends and behaviors while using individual tools.

One of the goals of the project was to optimize the process of importing data to the application because the tool is based on cyclical extracts from several data warehouses. The import was designed to run quickly and to not interfere with current work of the system users. The panel of consultants, besides of the function to check the results of products purchased by customers, can compare them with the results of other companies in the same industry or similar location. The system has been developed to improve the work of the consultants so they can easily and quickly find the data they need, the available promotions, and complete statistics, such as the number of views, inputs, contacts with the company and much more.

For the future, we plan further modules for the tool, including the customer panel and the modules supporting processes in the company.

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: to create a system for managing buildings and rooms, with integration with beacons and with an intuitive panel for creating actions and events for users.

SOLUTION: Dedicated system for buildings and rooms management, with integration with beacons, and with intuitive panel used to create actions and events for users.

The panel using drag & drop method allows to create rooms, navigation paths, to hook up beacons, plan user experiences, and send notifications and relevant context information.

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: to create a modern website for the Ifinity startup.

SOLUTION:

A modern website for the Ifinity startup. Responsive website with interesting front-end solutions. The page contains e-commerce module for ordering beacons.

BUTYK

CLIENT: Butyk – online store.

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: To create an application for Facebook.

SOLUTION: Facebook application, in order to use it the user was encouraged to like the client website.

In the application, the users browsed currently available models of shoes, chose the ones they liked and then explained why they should win them.

Moderator from the admin panel read the post and had a preview of the selected model of shoes. Once a week he/she chose the winner and published the results on the fanpage.

The application had been created in several languages and enjoyed huge popularity among the users due to its friendly flow and attractive prizes.

E-GUARD

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: To create a system for monitoring, analyzing and evaluating the behavior of users (communities) on the Internet, on social media, forums and websites.

SOLUTION: Software dedicated to monitoring, analyzing and evaluating the behavior of users (communities) on the Internet, on social networks, forums and websites.

DOTMEDIA

CLIENT: Dotmedia is an innovative company, which in order to provide comprehensive service to Customers, is both an advertising agency, a large format printing house and a producer of ready-made POS materials.

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: To create an extensive system dedicated to printing house management and contractor relationship management, which is available online from any place where the user has access to the Internet.

SOLUTION:

Bespoke software, designed for printing house management and contractor relationship management, available online from any place where the user has access to the Internet.

This system is dedicated to medium and large printing houses, so it has modules for warehouse, ordering and production management and module for work organization together with distribution of tasks to employees. Complementarity of the system is confirmed by CRM module, which is used to manage customer relationship. The system was designed and co-created with the active participation of Dotmedia printing house, so we are sure that the solutions we have prepared are “made-to-measure”. Each process has been deeply analyzed and improved.

PLATROFMA OGŁOSZEŃ ŁAZARSKIEGO

CLIENT: Lazarski University – non-public university founded by Ryszard Łazarski in 1993. The university educates lawyers, economists, financiers, businessmen, administrators, politicians, and diplomats.

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: To create a modern platform for publishing job advertisements, practice offers and events.

SOLUTION:

A system with a division into candidates’ accounts. They have access to the ads, the possibility of applying, adding their CVs and generating them as a PDF file.

The candidate, after verification, receives an e-mail about the completion of the recruitment and its result.

On their accounts employers can add new ads, verify the candidates and select future employees.

On his/her accounts, the administrator in addition to adding ads as a university, has full control over the users and can verify the data, and add classifieds.

The administrator decides which ads will appear on the page, and which will not, they also determine which of them will be highlighted.

NOWA NADZIEJA

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: To create an application supporting the reduction of barriers in access to education for the inhabitants of the Górowski district.

SOLUTION:

A tool through which users can gain insight into the educational brokering process, their personal and professional data and information about advisory progress, while brokers can gain fast and efficient advisory services.

The main purpose of the application is to manage the relationship with users and support the work of brokers.

The application includes descriptions of the professional roles associated with the qualifications and competencies, competence tests, a database of 2000 training courses and courses assigned to the relevant professional roles.

Laboratorium Wiedzy Łazarskiego

CLIENT: Lazarski University – non-public university founded by Ryszard Łazarski in 1993. The university educates lawyers, economists, financiers, businessmen, administrators, politicians, and diplomats.

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: Creation of a dedicated knowledge management system at the University.

The system, which consists of e-learning, test and survey modules from the KMS product, also contains Syllabus model that is available for the lecturers.

During the creation of the platform, the integration with IP board forum was made.

Personality questionnaires were created for the users, thanks to which after filling them, the users get the result for further use. It also provides professors with the option of adding their achievements to their profile.

 

Very interesting module that was created in the system are business plans used for the internal needs of the company and as a tool for external communication, for example in order to obtain sources of investment financing. The elements of this module are:

– financial analysis,

– market analysis,

– SWOT analysis,

– proposal of the business plan presented by the lecturer and the possibility for the students to complete it with their suggestions,

The platform also includes integration with an external database of students, professors and workers. All users and their access can be verified by the administrator thanks to the access control list – ACL.

OBPON

A system for knowledge management which has been based on the product KMS – a platform that
supports knowledge, but in addition to basic functionality such as the e-learning module, module
testing, materials and surveys it has been extended by a communications system “cometchat”.

Thanks to it all users actively using the platform can carry on conversations in chats, video chats,
and even organize video conferences.
An additional element useful in this case, for the administration of the system is a mechanism for
reporting individual surveys with the possibility of exporting them to PDF or CSV.

Da Vinci Medica

CLIENT: Da Vinci Medica

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: A system for analyzing and monitoring the hospital market in terms of medicines, medical goods and hospital equipment.

SOLUTION: The analytical system developed for Clients in the field of health protection in Poland containing data and analyses important for decision-makers.

In Da Vinci Medica advanced machine learning scripts were used in order to develop a solution that will enable big data to be used for control, and stable, successful health service management. One of the most important elements of the analytical process is the proper preparation of data for analysis, so the developed analytical system enables fast and convenient access to reliable data and analyses that have already undergone an extensive verification process.

Selected materials can be converted to CSV, MS Excel and PDF formats with ready graphs for further, more advanced work. The system, on the basis of saved data important for the users, selects specific information and informs of new data in the selected range, allowing to have the current knowledge of the market.

The project is under the patronage of the Institute of Healthcare Management of the Lazarski University, whose mission is to undertake researches to improve the effectiveness of the health care system in Poland.

Krwioobieg

CLIENT: KRWIOOBIEG Foundation

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: To support the creation of a Poland-wide database of potential blood donors who voluntarily declare to help and donate blood.

SOLUTION: Thanks to this project, the public awareness of the need for help in the form of blood donations is considerably increasing. Especially given that the number of people who can donate blood is decreasing due to the aging of the population and the disqualification of donors as a result of allergies, civilization diseases or the use of specific drugs.

By landing page, potential blood donors can register in the blood donation base and search for the nearest place in which they can donate their blood. The project is also an important source of knowledge about the action, process and donation need.

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: To create a sales platform

SOLUTION: Sales platform, the shop supplies equipment for the construction of home astronomical observatories.

CLIENT: Internal design

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: To create a mobile application supporting the work of field analysts of Da Vinci Medica system, who collect materials on tenders and produce photographic documentation in hospitals on a daily basis.

SOLUTION: The application allows to easily aggregate pictures of tenders acquired from hospitals and synchronize them between analyst’s phone and Da Vinci Medica system.

Extradom

CLIENT: Extradom – the largest office of home design

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: To create a dedicated application for Extradom partners.

SOLUTION: The application provides an easy way to generate a personalized partner’s page along with their projects. In order to retrieve the information needed, the partners’ pages are connected to the AWS cloud computing application instance.

CLIENT: SOCIALLO

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: To create an online store with ready-made applications on  Facebook.

Portal with ready-made applications on Facebook.

On the portal, the customers can look at the purchase offer, select the application that they find interesting, order and pay for it.

The portal administrator has access to billing and orders, which enhances workflow.

The Facebook application are prepared and, depending on the order, personalized and added to the customer fanpage.

DVS has implemented the whole portal mechanism and also developed and supports the application.

The application contains all relevant data connected with astronomy. By creating a virtual sky map, the user can gain knowledge of any star, planet, and other elements of the night sky with just one move.

WeBB MeetUp

The application developed for the needs of the WeBB MeetUp conference, thanks to which the participants could ask the speakers real-time questions.

Real-time mechanisms for questions asked during the conference were used in the application. The most interesting were asked during the ongoing speeches, but after the conference the speaker could go back to the rest of the questions in order to answer them.

What is more, details about each of the speakers and the topic of their presentations, the agenda and location map could be found in the application.

WeBB MeetUp

Mobile application created for WeBB MeetUp conference that enables participants to ask questions for lecturers in real-time.

The mobile application uses real-time communication to provide ability for asking lecturers during their sessions. The most interesting questions were posed during the conference. Lecturer was able to answer for remaining questions after the conference. What’s more, in the mobile application was included detail information about presenters and their sessions, agenda and access map.

CLIENT: Internal project

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: To create an application to automatically scan and recognize Duży Lotek coupons.

SOLUTION: LottoReader is an innovative and unique type of application available in App Store. The application allows to automatically check the results of Duży Lotek draw.

It allows to scan and save the coupon before and after the draw, thus to maintain your records.

Da Vinci Medica App

PURPOSE: To create a mobile application that supports analysts in field working with Da Vinci Medica System. Everyday analysts collect data on tenders and create a photo documentation in the hospitals.   

SOLUTION: The application allows easily to combine photos of tenders obtained from the hospitals and synchronise them between analyst’s phone and Da Vinci Medica System.

PURPOSE: Designing easy to use and comfortable application to read driver’s cards, tachographs and to document the routes.

SOLUTION: The application transparently presents driver’s working time analysis based on read from tachographs cards. Route module is for reporting delegations and creating drivers logs. All routes reads and files can be sent directly to th 4Trans programm in the head office.

TSP application

CLIENT: TS PODBESKIDZIE BIELSKO-BIAŁA

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: To create an application for TSP football team fans, thanks to which they can get their live reports, photos, schedule of matches and the updated information.

SOLUTION: Mobile application dedicated to the fans of TS Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biala, thanks to which they can keep up to date with new information connected with the sport club such as live reports, photos, schedule of matches and the latest news. Moreover, with this application the users can easily buy club’s gadget or tickets for a match. The application contains a map, which shows the way to the stadium.

Apart from the functionalities for the fans, there is also a panel dedicated to sponsors and partners of the club.

ALURON VIRTU APPLICATION

CLIENT: Aluron Virtu Warta Zawiercie

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT: Creation of an application for fans of the volleyball team Aluron Virtu Warta Zawiercie, thanks to which every fan can follow all events of the club on an ongoing basis

SOLUTION: A mobile application dedicated to the fans of the Aluron Virtu club, Warta Zawiercie, thanks to which every fan can follow all club events on an ongoing basis. The application allows tracking the current team results, provides better knowledge of the players, live reports, access to photo gallery, full league schedule, as well as a table of results. Thanks to the application, fans can easily find club store with gadgets, buy a match ticket and get acquainted with the stadium’s plan. The tool also makes sure to remind fans about matches or events significant for the club. In addition to the functionality for fans, a panel dedicated to the sponsors and partners of the club was also created. This is a special module – the space that the application owner can offer existing and potential sponsors of the club. It is thus an incentive for the latter.
